Uniting in Compassionate Community Service

ShareFest is an annual festival of sharing & caring. During this time, we unite in compassionate community service to meet the needs within our community. These needs are only met through hundreds of volunteers sacrificing their time, talents, and treasures in compassionate community service. Our model of service to others has proven to be successful involving over 160 organizations and is available for any organization plug into.


On the second Saturday of September, we offer a free reuse/recycling event that allows Will County residents the opportunity to dispose of household hazardous waste, electronics, Styrofoam, and scrap metal and more.

“Main Event”

Collections of books, clothes, food, and items for our troops and pets are gathered in , and then  given away or exchanged for free at our  "Main Event" held at Spencer School Campus 1711 S. Spencer Rd. the third Saturday in September.  At this event, there will also free legal advice from a group of attorneys, Free  lectures with  screenings from local health care providers, and lots of freebies and fun for the whole family. Volunteers also go out into the community to complete fix/up and repair projects for seniors, veterans, and those in need as well as a workday project for the Forest Preserve District of Will County.  In addition, a Job & Resource Fair is also scheduled on the second Friday.

Main Event activities include:

       ·  food drives for our pantries
       ·  free legal services
